Kid's Fishing Day at Hordemann Pond in Moscow on April 27

Staff will be on hand to help young anglers, and Idaho Fish and Game's new fishing trailer will be stocked with rods and reels available for loan on a first-come, first-served basis.
Winchester Lake temporary F&G access closure

Spring 2024 CWD Management Action Wrap-up
Tuesday, April 2, 2024 - 1:04 PM MDTSince CWD was initially detected in the Slate Creek Area in 2021, our CWD management objective continues to be to minimize the spread of CWD outside of the “hot spot” and minimize the portion of animals that have CWD within Unit 14, and across Idaho. Results of the second year of the management action includes 16 additional animals that tested positive for CWD.

South Fork Clearwater River anglers advised that camping is not allowed on ITD properties
Monday, March 4, 2024 - 11:25 AM MSTAs anglers make plans to fish the South Fork Clearwater River this year for steelhead, they should be aware of an Idaho law that prohibits camping on certain state-owned property. This means if somebody is camping on one of ITD’s pull-outs/right of ways along the South Fork of the Clearwater River, they could be cited for an infraction. This regulation is not exclusive to the South Fork Clearwater (Hwy 13 & 14) and includes state-owned properties.
